Guapi ESsENTIal immersion
Over 4 days and 3 nights, you will discover Guapi through music, local cuisine, ancestral knowledge, and the landscapes that connect rivers, rainforest, and ocean. The experience includes encounters with local communities, an introduction to viche, cultural activities, and a visit to Gorgona National Natural Park. Between July and October, the program also includes responsible humpback whale observation and opportunities to listen to their songs in their natural habitat.

Day 1
Songs of Sea and River
Arrive in Guapi and enjoy your first encounter with the flavors, sounds, and stories of Colombia’s Pacific coast. After lunch, we will explore emblematic sites around town, participate in a traditional music experience, and learn about viche, the ancestral spirit deeply connected to the region’s history, celebrations, and cultural identity.
Day 2
Gorgona and Whale Encounters*
Depart early for Gorgona National Natural Park, one of the most biodiverse protected areas in the Colombian Pacific. We will visit Yundigua Beach, enjoy time on the island, and during whale season, observe humpback whales from the coastline while listening to their songs through responsible, non-invasive practices. Return to Guapi in the afternoon.

Day 3
Community Life, River Journeys, and Local Knowledge
Spend the day connecting with local communities through activities that reflect everyday life in the Pacific. Experiences may include traditional rooftop gardens, river journeys aboard a potrillo canoe, and artisanal fishing practices that reveal the deep connection between people, culture, and nature.
Day 4
Farewell to Guapi
After breakfast, enjoy a final visit to a local handicraft display before transferring to the airport or river port. A relaxed conclusion to a journey filled with cultural exchanges, local flavors, and meaningful encounters.
