TUMACO

In this virtual journey, guided by traditional knowledgeable locals who will share their stories and knowledge, we will learn to play the basic rhythmical patterns of the “Bunde”, an ancestral musical genre of the Colombian south pacific. We will also dance this genre while we learn about the magic of the "chigualo" ritual, we will compose a "Décima Cimarrona", and we will cook an exquisite “ceviche de Piangua”.

GUAPI

In this virtual journey, guided by traditional knowledgeable locals who will share their stories and knowledge, we will learn to play the basic rhythmical patterns of the “Bambuco Viejo”, an ancestral musical genre of the Colombian south pacific. We will also dance this genre while we learn about the magic of falling in love, we will weave a traditional fan with which the “guapireños” keep their warm days cool, and we will cook an exquisite “encocado de Jaiba”.

In this virtual journey, guided by traditional knowledgeable locals who will share their stories and knowledge, we will learn to play the basic rhythmical patterns of the “QuiQuimBamba”, a traditional rhythm to play in parades in Barbacoas. We will also dance this genre while we learn about the magic of the "Danza de los Monos" (Monkey's dance), we will compose a "Décima Cimarrona", and we will cook a very  typical dessert called “cocadas”.
